New Scout article apparently says that MSU is the leader for Brandan Kearney and that he might commit earlier than originally planned (summer 2010). This is a bit out of the blue because MSU has lots of wing prospects they're scouting and it was never clear that Kearney was a Plan A. Kearney also claimed to be very close to commiting to UM earlier this year. MSU will have 4 (possibly 5) scholarships to offer in 2011 so an early commit from Kearney wouldn't necessarily preclude any other recruits, though it makes a wing like Dwuan Anderson more repetitious.
