BTN Stream

I watched most of last year’s first exhibition game and very little of the second because the streaming quality was pure crap on my high-speed. I’m curious whether it’s any better now that folks have to pay.

Quality...

I assume it will be better since there will be less people watching (due to it not being free). I also assume they’ve invested in additional hardware/bandwidth and that is why they are charging. They have a website you can go to in order to view a sample of the streaming quality:

Basketball Rivals

How many rivals does the MSU basketball team need. We have UM, Wisky, Illini, and now Purdue? We are quickly becoming the Duke of the ACC.

Purdue is bigger than Illinois at this point, IMO.

Being the best makes everyone a rival

When Minnesota was sitting near the top of the WCHA every year for a decade about ten years ago, they were the primary rival of about two-thirds of the conference. (Part of that may have been from being the flagship of the Minnesota schools with three others in the conference, though.) Comes with the territory.
