Masterful move to put in Keith Nichol in that situation. He’s so much better at passing than Cousins, and after resting a couple games is much better suited to handle the pressure of playing backed up against the end zone.

Its simply assinine
The officiating. I think the Minnesota penalties are makes up for the bad calls against STate.
Quick Question:
When was the last time MSU got the benefit of a huge marginal call by the refs? Has it happened a single time in the last 5 years?

Keeps inventing new ways to lose.
This game is a great example of why I find myself watching less and less Big Ten football
Look at this game: We have record penalties, probably a dozen “we are reviewing the call” instances, some of which couldn’t even get the call right after watching it on tape. Subpar announcing on the broadcast. Terrible play calling on both sides of the ball.
More and more, I just find myself not caring. There are better things to do with my time than continue to watch this every week.

It’s not even as much the fact that MSU has been a .500 team since I was born. I am just tired of watching our team get jobbed by refs. I am tired of watching us get stuffed 3 straight times from inside the two yard line. I am tired of announcers showing me videos of locker rooms and human interest interviews when I could be watching football.

Nothing you can do about the announcers.
It’s part of the nature of the universe.
But there’s something the Big Ten can do about inept replay reviews.
And there’s certainly something Mark Dantonio can do about bull-headed, completely-predictable, arguably-win-costing goal line playcalling.

I suppose there’s a reason this crew is on BTN instead of ESPN.
Even the ESPN crews are terrible. Every time I hear Pam Ward I want to punch a hole in the wall, and don’t even get me started on Ray Bentley either.
