Giving Credit Where Credit is Due

In the past, I've been critical, both privately and semi-publicly, of the Izzone's sometimes-silly policies.  But this . . . this is full of win:

Former Izzone Member:

The Student Alumni Foundation invites you and a guest back to campus to join other former IZZONE members for an exciting night of MSU Spartan Men’s Basketball.  Rejoin the student section that you came to love for the Spartans Big Ten Home Opener.

Michigan State Spartans vs. Wisconsin Badgers

January 6th, 2010

Tip-off at 6:30pm

Cost: $40/per person

Package includes:  Lower Bowl Izzone Ticket, Commemorative Izzone t-shirt & Izzone Newsletter

The 2009/10 Izzone will be on Holiday Break, so we are counting on you to bring true home court advantage to the Breslin.  You and one guest are in for a treat with this great opportunity!

Register at www.msusaf.com or by calling the SAF Office at 517.355.4458.

Last day to register is December 1st, 2009 so make your reservation now!  Space is limited.  Limit of 2 tickets per IZZONE Alumni.

This is one evening you won't want to miss!

I am SO there.  This will ensure a better crowd against Wisconsin -- a big game for us, and one against a team most of us loathe -- and it'll be a ton of fun.  Izzone . . . you've done well.

[Purdue preview coming later today.]

Hopefully, that's actual time

. . . and not a 16 OT game.
