Big weekend for MSU hockey, as your Spartans swept a home-and-home against Michigan. MSU now sits atop the CCHA with a 9-2-1 record, has quality wins against Clarkson, Maine, #1 Miami, and Nebraska-Omaha, and Drew Palmisano seems to be the latest in a long line of excellent Spartan goaltenders.
A complete reversal of last season's misery? Uh, yes.

Possibly after football is over.
I’m a big MSU hockey fan and would love to cover it more. As Mike said, though, it’s difficult to follow the team closely because the games aren’t usually on TV — particularly when you live out-of-town as I do. We’ll see what happens.

Why not bring on the guy who runs In the Corners … though that blog isn’t as thorough as I was hoping it would be when it first started. I know seeing road games that aren’t at Ann Arbor or Kalamazoo (or even Big Rapids) is difficult/impossible, but I’d like some more analysis on the home games at least and some plunging into stats just to flesh things out.
