Happy news about an MSU football player! Hip, hip, hooray!

First Team All-Big Ten plus a 3.89 GPA. This man will be missed.

Definately...

…one of the great stories of MSU football in my remembrance. The guy went from not being wanted on the team, even as a walk-on, to one of the best in Big 10 and seems to be a total class act while he does it. Hats off to Blair White and good luck whether in pro football or dentistry.

If you filmed “The Blair White Story,” and showed it at the multiplex, people who don’t know the actual story might call it Hollywoodized and unrealistic.

If he ends up in dentistry, though, how’s he going to deal with the fact that he made himself into a damn good football player by working so hard that made people cry and the people in his chair gaping up at him can’t even be persuaded to brush twice a day? Breath deep, Blair.

Who need's Rudy

He couldn’t even stay on sides anyway. Blair White, there’s a gamer.

Light a man a fire, he'll stay warm for a day.
Light a man afire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Yep...

…he’s a great story. I hope he can hang on as a pro, because it would be more payback for all the work put in when he was thinking “yes” and everyone else was telling him “no”.
