New Blog: Anonymous Eagle covering Marquette!

Gonzaga outWisconsins Wisconsin in Maui, turning the ball over on just 12.5% of possessions, posting a free throw rate of 47.2%, and outscoring the Badgers 42-18 in the paint.

I'm taking this as a hopeful sign that MSU's win over Gonzaga, as ugly as it may have been in execution, represents (1) an early data point indicating we are, in fact, a pretty good team and (2) what will be a very useful notch on our belt come NCAA Tournament seeding time.

Florida

Hopefully we take care of business against Florida Friday night. The way they are playing defense this year they are going to be tough to beat. Wins over Gonzaga and Florida (Hopefully) will go a long ways come March.
