differences and the year they make

Reading that recap only illustrates what is missing this year: it was clear that Suton, Walton and Ibok were the great neutralizers in last year’s game, and while Abrams is gone (and somewhere Walton is still shadowing him), they have a crop of new super-talented freshman and sophomore guards they can rotate in (didn’t Jai Lucas just come eligible?), and the same rugged and talented frontline. We really need out Roe to stay on the floor and Nix et al to play the Ibok role and at least make Pittman work for it. It would also be nice to see Summers have a flashback.

Then again, KJ’s recap also teaches that sometimes moxie trumps statistical disadvantages, and we are due some moxie.
