North Carolina +/- Stats

Hey, we had a volunteer!  Who wishes to remain anonymous.  So I'm posting the stats for him:

  • Green +9
  • Thornton +1
  • Summers 0
  • Nix -2
  • Allen -3
  • Lucious -4
  • Lucas -5
  • Morgan -9
  • Roe -11
  • Sherman -11

The numbers check out: They add up to negative 35, which is 5 times the final margin in of defeat (7).

So I guess my statement in the game recap--"Draymond Green is the one constant on this team"--was even more true than I knew.  Roe and Sherman struggled to guard Davis/Thompson/Zeller.  Morgan's turnovers apparently offset his scoring.

This is a FanPost, written by a member of the TOC community. It does not represent the official positions of The Only Colors, Inc.--largely because we have no official positions.

Day-Day

That really is quite striking, since he did get some serious run in that game, and played with a number of different line-ups. He might quietly be the most valuable player on the team to date, and if he can begin consistently hitting the fifteen footer, he could be a reliable 13-15 ppg scorer as well.
