MSU spring draft, rosters, starters
Interesting bits from Rexrode: Trenton Robinson was the second player chosen overall, Caulton Ray (whom I didn't mention in yesterday's preview) was the first RB taken, Brian Linthicum was taken before Garrett Celek at TE, and neither QB was drafted until the 17th (!) round.
Adam Rittenberg was also there and has a nice take at ESPN.

Concerned..
It is still concerning to me that Nichol went after Cousins. I am confident in both and believe we are all set at the position, but I hoped for a more clearly defined started at this point…
My bet
is that Cousins went first mainly because he’s listed as first on the depth chart right now—so that’d be less likely to create any controversy/hard feelings.

I think you guys are reading to much into this. Im happy to hear both are playing well. You can never have to many options and at QB its even better. The fact that the QB round didnt happen till 17 is a fantastic thing. Both teams knew they could wait because they were get a quailty QB.
Im more surpised Walton couldnt talk the Green team in to taking more D players in the eariler rounds.
