Chad Ford of espn.com has [Goran] Suton going to the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round as the 56th overall selection in his latest mock draft.

"Suton has a passport, and he can play a little," Ford wrote. "When you're the Blazers and have this many second-round picks, the ability to play a little is the only requirement."

Michigan State's Goran Suton to wait NBA draft out at home

File that one under "back-handed compliments."

The NBA Draft starts at 7:30 tonight (ESPN). Those of us who are primarily interested in where Mr. Suton lands can probably wait until 10ish to tune in.

I may be biased, but a European-born big man who can shoot the ball from the outside and rebounds the ball at Odenesque levels seems like a heckuva bargain in the second round.
