Resistance is Futile

Borgcube_medium

John M. of The Crimson Quarry, as told to the Big Ten Network's Brent Yarina:

Newly launched Michigan State group blog The Only Colors, based on the blogs it absorbed, is going to be one of the best around.

[geek alert]

Apparently, we are the Borg of the MSU blogosphere.

"Lower your firewall and surrender your blog. We will add your writing and opinionating distinctiveness to our own. Your readership will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."

[/geek alert; reference material for those readers who don't live in their mothers' basements]

Thanks to John for the shout out.  We'll try not to disappoint.

Since this is a successor blog to former MSU blogs

maybe TOC could make blogpoll this year?

fred smith

any news on where he might end up on the depth chart?

by zachjuett on Jul 21, 2009 7:57 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

In the Spring, he was third at the "X"

Behind Blair White and Mark Dell. The “X” receiver looks like it’s for big receivers (everyone under that position is 6’2" and taller). He might be able to battle Chris D. Rucker for the spot behind B.J. Cunningham, but we’ll see.

We’ll have more on this when we break down the WRs in the coming weeks.

i see. i guess based on the little i know of him and only having read scouting reports between highschool and his freshman year he seems like a great possession receiver, hes listed at 6-2 but not a thin 6-2. seems perfect for situations over the middle. maybe im nuts but im not a rucker or cunningham fan. id like to see smith get some p.t.

looking forward to your breakdown!!
