Dave Warner (QB coach): "I don't think that [sharing the QB spot] is our goal in the long run. I think it's a possibility especially early in the season. My goal would become one guy become the guy through fall camp. As good as they both are and as close as they both are, I'm not sure that is going to happen." - Despite uncertainty, Spartans thinking big--like, title big - Matt Crossman - College Football - Sporting News

When they control for their offensive line stats, (adjusted line yards) Ringer shoots up the list from 137th to 18th.
“In terms of line yards, the “+” is determined simply by taking a team’s line yardage output and comparing it to what would have been expected based on the defenses against which the carries came."
In other Big 10 news P.J. Hill looks significantly worse when they control for o-line and VN rates Minnesota as one of the five worst in Div. 1-A.
Thanks
I didn’t see that. Adjusted line yards is the niftiest stat FO has devised IMO.

He wants to be "dogmatic"?
Why is it that the most highly paid employees at our prestigious institutions of higher learning don’t know basic vocabulary and grammar? Is it too much to ask that they use the English language with some semblance of coherence or proper meaning? According to my American Heritage Dictionary, fourth edition, dogmatic is defined as: 1. Relating to, characteristic of, or resulting from dogma. 2. Characterized by an authoritative, arrogant assertion of unproved or unproven principles. Dogma is defined as: 2. An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially ones considered to be absolutely true.
How does this word have any relation to our history of inflated dreams or our approach to overcoming them? I know people say football is a religion in some parts of the country but dogma has nothing to do with tamping down unrealistic expectations.
