Explain this one to me like I'm 8 years old
Resurgent national power vs. in-state rival with a high-powered offense = noon BTN slot?

Well, MSU brought it on themselves...
…by losing to CMU and ND; 4-0 (or even 3-1) MSU vs 4-0 or 3-1 MICH is a much easier sell for a national (regional) audience. OTOH, you would think that with all the kisses being thrown at Tate For-see-yay, ESPN would want that game on national TV just to lure in people who haven’t seen him and want to know what all the hype is about.
I can’t possibly justify Ark State @ Iowa being shown on the Deuce, and Wisconsin-Minnesota seems like it will be two evenly matched but mediocre teams slugging it out to see which would win when pitting Stoppable Force vs. Movable Object.
