Implications

Mike Fowler went on the Scout free board and offered his two cents that Brundidge was a good player but didn’t have an MSU offer, hence the disparity between attention and intensity from Beilein to Izzo. Sounds right.
I think the biggest implication for MSU is that it makes it less likely that Patrick Lucas-Perry is going to UM. The Wolverines are running out of scholarships for perimeter players fast. Could effect Kearney, too, especially if UM gets Casey Prather to commit.
So, in the long run, victory for MSU, I’d say.

In a quick note – the first time G steps onto the court during a regular season game in a Jazz uniform, I’m going to be very proud as a Spartan.

CB had an offer from what everyone has said. But MSU wasnt and never was pushing real hard to get him. His dad has said as much. UofM was pushing hard MSU was not. Im also dont know if MSU would have took a commit from him had he wanted too.

Odd

Somehow The Rivalry did not include Daryl Clark’s 1 INT per game average in his write up.

Any team with Lucas

is going to make a lot of best back court lists. We have a lot of depth. Hopefully Allen and Summers’ shooting strokes will be more consistent this year. I also hope Lucious recovers from that foot injury in time to play meaningful minutes. We really don’t have another option at PG if Lucas gets hurt or worn down.

Not sure if you guys have heard..

But our guards at KU really pack a punch.

All jokes aside though as a lifelong KU and big MSU fan, I think our backcourts are 1a and 1b in no particular order. I think Chris Allen is probably the wildcard but hasn’t impressed me too much yet; much more a fan of Summers.

I'd agree with that assessment

If either Allen or Summers plays to their full potential as juniors, we’ll have ourselves a very, very good backcourt.

Also, I think there’s a good pun to be made involving your “fight” song.
