Last week's ballot |
Dropped Out: Florida State (#21), Washington (#25).
I mean, 4 of my top 8 teams in last week's poll lost, so your guess is as good as mine. Just a few thoughts this week.
- I think #5 for Virginia Tech is fair. They've played a more difficult schedule than anyone so far, and their only loss was to the team that's, for me, the country's clear #1.
- I'll entertain arguments that Cincinnati and/or Boise are ranked too high. Houston could possibly be a bit higher, I think.
- I thought about leaving Oregon and Cal off entirely, but they slide in at the end. I'm not totally convinced that Oregon is that great, but, I mean, they won steamroller-style on Saturday.
Late posting this week, so this becomes final tomorrow morning.
