Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

[Bumped. Also see here. -KJ]

Sources close to the Purdue men’s basketball team are saying junior forward Robbie Hummel tore his anterior cruciate ligament Wednesday night against Minnesota and will be out for an unclear amount of time.

The severity of the tear was not immediately known, though any ACL tear likely means the end to this season.

A press release from the Purdue Athletic department confirming the injury is expected today.

Certainly bad news for Purdue fans and Big Ten fans, as Purdue looked like the team most likely to make a deep run, but this news certainly puts that in doubt.

Welll..

If Purdue still beats MSU on Sunday and wins the big ten championship they sure as heck will have earned it.

It certainly makes Sunday Interesting

Do you guys want to collaborate on anything for Sunday? I’m going tot he game, but not as part of the press or anything. It is strictly fandom for me.

A futile crusade to prevent mass ignorance

Damn shame

Being less confident of MSU or OSU making an NCAA run, I was hoping Purdue would carry the flag into the Final Four and be the ones to knock of a few Big East media darlings.
