One informed National opinion on Lucas...

Mike DeCourcy tells us all not to panic.

DeCourcy is among the best of national writers, and he's Midwest based, so he's not strictly an ACC/Big East honk.

Just one opinion, of course, but DeCourcy generally has a pretty good feel for college ball.   Korie may indeed be ready for this-even on the road.

I think we should be fine

The issue is that we are in the midst of the toughest part of our schedule, which makes his absence worse than it otherwise would be. If we are going to beat Purdue it would be easier to do it at the Breslin, but with Lucas out that looks a lot harder. Winning in West Lafayette even with Lucas is a daunting task. Hopefully he’ll be back at full strength by the time OSU comes to town because that game keeps looking harder and harder to win.
