Izzo visits Indiana 5-star Branden Dawson
Here's a recent NW Indiana news article talking about G/F Branden Dawson. Dawson is a big-time 2011 recruit (Rivals Top 20) who could help deal with the loss of Durrell Summers.
Though this article attempts to update his recruitment in general, it talks about MSU's involvement a lot. Izzo was recently in Gary after the Wisconsin loss to meet with him. This is a recruitment to watch.

Good stuff
Assuming we don’t get Zeigler, the 2011 class definitely needs at least one more big-time wing player.

I think of Summers
because one of Dawson’s strengths is that he’s supposed to be an excellent rebounder as a guard. I’ve heard people say he’d be an excellent fit for Izzo.
Hands off Izzo
his mom wants him to go to Purdue

Your mom and every other Purdue fan, I'd imagine!
Guy can ball. Excellent rebounding guard, apparently.

Haha,
Total reading fail! I misread it as “my mom.” Sorry.
Yeah, a lot of talk that Purdue is unequivocally the team to beat.
Late thought
I think that Matt Painter has to establish some part of Indiana that is off limits for everybody else, the way that Izzo has taken over the Saginaw Valley League in Michigan. The way it seems is that if there is a high quality player in the SVL that Izzo wants he’s going to get him, from MoPete, Antonio Smith, Mateen, Charlie Bell, Jason Richardson and now Draymond Green. From the Purdue perspective, Painter has to build a fence around the Gary-Hammond region and put up no trespassing signs to all the other coaches. If he can do that, get a decent player out of Indy and another one out of Chicago every year he’ll have a long career at Purdue.
