I'm a bit uncomfortabl with this shirt.
I know Andy Katz “picked” us as the team of the decade, but I there’s something “off” about this shirt. Either we have such an inferiority complex that we must claim a subjective title (ala Purdue fans claiming the 1932 National Championship selection") or we’re being smug. Either way, I don’t think it fits in with our programs mentality.
If we were the team of the decade, it wasn’t by a landslide (say UCLA-1960’s).
Just my thoughts.
I think SI picked us as team of the decade, too
But I understand your point.
If you win a certificate, you can go with a “2010 Big Ten Champions” shirt. Can’t dispute that title. Right? :)
