Since rook34 is in the lead right now and has all of the Final Four teams in his 16, no one can catch him. Top three for each possible championship game:
- Butler vs. West Virginia (regardless of winner): rook34, KJ, Seer
- Butler over Duke: rook34, vert_et_blanc, KJ
- Duke over Butler: rook34, vert_et_blanc, tie between RobbingGormanThomas and TheCrestedHelm for 3rd
- MSU over West Virginia: rook34, SpartanDan, vert_et_blanc
- West Virginia over MSU: rook34, SpartanDan, KJ
- MSU vs. Duke (regardless of winner): rook34, vert_et_blanc, tie between RobbingGormanThomas and TheCrestedHelm for 3rd
Top 16 teams to pick if the tournament were already over, plus the one other still alive:
- Cornell (24)
- Washington (22)
- Michigan State* (21)
- Butler* (21)
- St. Mary's (20)
- Tennessee (18)
- Northern Iowa (18)
- Ohio (14)
- Murray St. (13)
- Xavier (12)
- Old Dominion (11)
- Georgia Tech (10)
- Missouri (10)
- Baylor (9)
- Wake Forest (9)
- West Virginia* (9)
Duke scores 5 points right now; they would have to reach the final to crack the top 16 (would be tied at 9 if they are runner-up, 15 if they win it all). Someone with the top 16 picks as of now would have 241 points and would be assured at least 249 (8 for the first semifinal).

Hmmm
Not out of it, but my strategy was counting on a strong first two rounds.
Light a man a fire, he'll stay warm for a day.
Light a man afire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Stupid Wofford!
Oh well, I’m not in last place….
Thanks for tallying things
My good old traditional brackets look better than my TOC standing, but I’ll take 13 teams still alive. Unfortunately, like KJ, I picked Texas in a surprise upset over Kentucky. That obviously didn’t pan out.

9 teams going and only 2 matches that share teams gonna need 6-7 to move on.

So close . . .
Thanks again for keeping score for us, Dan. We’ll get these results on the front page soon.

To quote Bo Ryan
(Or a very close relative, anyway) I have paid the price for my lack of vision. I’ll never doubt Izzo again.
