Vintage MSU football art
Here's a page of great MSU football art from 1925-1960. Sadly, these "posters" are currently unavailable until the company gets licensing from the university. But they're a very cool cross-section of different eras, and would probably do fine as wallpaper for your computer. Thanks to mgoblog.com, which tipped me off by posting a graphic from the site.

If you like these...
FYI: If you like these, you can get them in calendar form at http://asgardpress.com/products/michigan-state
The 2012 one is $19.95.
The program art wasn't so great
You can see it here, about halfway down the page.
Not so great?
I must object, my good sir.
Sparty riding a chariot pulled by the Irish’s Four Horseman, as he whips them?
IMO, that is awesome on several levels.
A shame one of those levels isn't visual
Superficially, it just ain’t that well done.
On the plus side, it beats the designs of the ‘71/’72 programs, which got all psychedelic and hippy-dippy with an Electric Acid Kool-Aid Test palette. Go here and check out “May.”
I'll give you that
Total animation fail, but I love the idea.
BTW, that MSU-Purdue one in your link, kicked in a flashback.
