With the loss of Roe, we seem a little light (no pun about Nix intended) inside this year. Just wondering what the possibility is of Dion Simms suiting up after football season is done.
Simms size is probably good for a few rebounds and some defensive stops. I know Simms is only 6'5" but his 275 pound body fills a lot of the lane. Coach Izzo could mix him into the rotation for Nix and Payne -- maybe allowing Payne to play a little more Power forward.
