Kalin Lucas Highlights from Greece
Since the subject came up in today's game thread, I thought I'd post this highlight tape of Lucas playing with his current team, Olympiacos Piraeus of Athens. He plays alongside Matt Howard of Butler and Kyle Hines of UNC Greensboro and is currently averaging 7.3 points in 19 minutes per game.

But this has been a depressing enough few days without seeing Kalin stuck playing basketball in Greece.
Well he is in the country that seems to be leading everything down
the collective drain. Beautiful place, though (Mrs. Dersh & I honeymooned there).
Nothing wrong with the Outback bowl either.
Still sucks.

I’m not going to do a jig about getting relegated to a lesser bowl, and I’m not going to do one about seeing one of the toughest, hardest working Spartans in recent memory relegated to a third tier professional league.
Please don’t mistake this as being disappointed in either KL or the football team, because I’m not. I can be disappointed in seeing their hard work and effort not being rewarded, however.

However, KL is on one of the (historically) top teams in the top level of Euroleague.
Not to mention, only about 500 people per year play in the NBA (and in any given college incoming freshman class, maybe three dozen of them will ever play a minute in the NBA). And of those 500 people who will play a minute in the NBA, very few of them are 6’ even.
What am I thinking now?
I think I was the one who had posted about KL in the previous thread and you somehow read my mind and posted this! Meant to comment a couple days ago but wasn’t able to log in.
That also got me wondering about Raymar and Durell and Goran and….
