PrintWatched a bit of the end of Iowa/Iowa State tonight just to see what our former Spartans looked like. Luscious isn't in uniform of course but Allen was on the bench with 4 fouls in a blowout over Iowa. Didn't get to see much of him but I did find this little bit. Seems ISU has been forced to play Allen at PG, hope he's worked on that...I still remember him trying to bring the ball up in the NCAA tournament and it being pretty brutal. Chris Allen video

One thing I said when we picked up Brandan Kearney -
Our #3/emergency PG option received a major upgrade. Izzo has already given him some minutes there this season for experience. If he’s needed, I think BK will handle it better than Allen did when pressed into service.

In their 3 losses, his shooting has been atrocious.

so many of you may have seen it but some interesting opinions on Chris’ abilities. Interesting they claim he’s not a great defender. Not sure I’d disagree totally but that was one of his strengths in his last year as a Spartan. Widerightnattylite which is somehow an Iowa State blog
