Had to have this game

We can bask for a moment, but it sure would help to get a road win against Minnesota.

Legacy

Kalin Lucas continues to damage his legacy after that game… right Adam Biggerst of The Flint Journal? Kalin’s #1 may be haning in the rafters someday. Baller.

Nice.

And yeah, B10 POY + statistically, one of the greatest Spartans + best player in the 2nd-greatest period of sustained success in program history = #1 retired. IMO, at least.

yup

you got to retire someone’s number after a couple b10 championships and final fours – best player would be an obvious choice IMO as well, regardless of how this season ends (or started)

thought the defense

was really good today. aggressive but not fouling that much. Maybe it’s just the refs, but it was nice to have a game where they only had 10 free throws total, instead of the usual 40 million. Kalin Lucas was a beast, and this game feels good. As a side note, I really can’t even look at the game thread anymore because of the constant negativity. It’s just too frustrating. Go Green. I love watching you play

Agree on the negativity

It’s getting a bit out of hand. Think we may have become a bit spoiled as a fan base, but hopefully this is the beginning of the end of the negativity that has consumed some of the commenters.

He keeps this up and he's back in the draft

I could think of much worse things to do with a 2nd round pick.

Kalin

Lucas.

He is scary when healthy. Roe playing injured, a more aggressive Summers… there was a lot to be happy about tonight.

GO GREEN!
