Finally, regression to the mean:

MSU's opponents are shooting 42.0% on 2-pointers and 33,9% on 3-pointers over the last four games. Not coincidentally, Mike Kebler is averaging 20.8 minutes/game over that stretch. Adreian Payne's 6 blocks in 40 minutes have been useful, too. Ultimately, though, defensive effective field goal percentage is, more so than any of the other four factors, a team stat--and this team has become a much more cohesive unit in the last two weeks (on one end of the court, at least).
Defense isn't going to win championships this year, but it sure looks like it's going to keep an NCAA Tournament streak alive.
