Misdemeanor assault charges for Brian Linthicum, MIP charges for Max Bullough, and "eluding an officer" charges for both. No details are available yet, but it seems that there was a shoving match in a bar in Aspen, and when the police arrived, Messrs. Linthicum and Bullough tried to get away. So, the two players are now on par with the 50% of MSU students who are involved in similar situations by the time they graduate.
On the other hand, unlike the other recent transgressions involving MSU players, this one actually happened in the off-season. Fulmer Cup points, ahoy!

I'll see your +100 and raise you +1000.
Well played.
Get a Lawyer
If they don’t have a record and the get a lawyer do a little community service, pay a good fine and the case will get dismissed.
LOL Just Win Baby
HOPE someone in the future can shoot free throws like sullinger of OSU....that is the only reason they won the game today.
I am not sure if this OSU can reach the final four…OSU is not going to get the calls it is getting at INDY.
Was going to say..
hopefully someone in the future can get calls like Sullinger does. Not blaming him — but those refs let him barrel into NW defenders every time – but if the NW exerted any force/contact they blew the whistle. Makes it very hard to defend if the offensive player gets a different set of rules for the kind of physical contact allowed.
Mmmm...California
Hard to blame them – Aspen is a place where the beer flows like wine.

I am a bit concerned about our quickness and conditioning
You mean our top athletes couldn’t outrun some local cops? I would like to think they should be able to escape with ease
"It's a trap!"
not sure it is a good idea at the point...running against the law...face the situation and get bail.

It's the altitude
Aspen is at about 8000 feet above sea level. At that altitude you flatlanders don’t have enough red blood cells to carry the oxygen you need to metabolize the alcohol. Hence, you get drunker and stupider faster than you would at sea level. It you stick around for a few months, your body produces the red blood cells you need and then you can man up and do some serious bar hopping. That’s why we veterans of Colorado living try to stay out of the way of tourists during ski season.

I suspect we see Linthicum get two, Bullough get one (possibly two?) and a bonus point on top of everything for avoiding the cops. So I’m guessing three to four points, currently good for a tie in seventh or ninth. Worst (best?) case scenario, they get three points each and we jump into a tie for fourth.
Schadenfreude ist die schoenste Freude
If i had to guess, five points total
one for each infraction and a fifth bonus point.

Cause....
….the “we” in this case are 19- and 22-year-old college students, to stereotype broadly.
Nothing I didn’t do at different times, including the fleeing the cops part. So I’m not going to get shirty about it.

Methinks you need a little less faith in humanity.
Common sense is pretty badly misnamed; there’s nothing common about it.
I've got this terrible pain in all the diodes down my left-hand side.

I mean, yeah, but
getting drunk and running from the cops is not exactly an uncommon occurrence among college students.

The cops around East Lansing may..
…ride horses sometimes, but they’re not willing to try any steeplechase-type stuff just to make an alcohol arrest.

Ah, yes
I always loved it when the Royal East Lansing Mounted Police made an appearance during welcome week each year.
