Happy Monday everyone, and welcome to the third "game" in the 2011 Favorite Spartan Athlete bracket. I spent more than 1,000 words last week detailing Kirk Cousins's accomplishments, so I hope you won't mind if I skip him and go right to Lindsay Bowen.

Bowen was a local product, hailing just under a half-hour's drive from East Lansing in Dansville, Michigan.  She started in all of her 131 games as a Spartan, and while I'm not sure that that's a record she holds on her own, I wouldn't be surprised if it was.  From her statistics it would seem she started her career as a shooting guard, but became more of a combo guard further into her MSU playing days, filling in at the point when Kristin Haynie wasn't on the floor.  She's MSU's all time leader in three-point percentage and three-pointers made (40.1%, 294).  She played at one point for the New York Liberty in the WNBA, but is not currently on the roster.  If you know what she's up to these days, please let us know in the comments.
