If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend checking out Kirk Cousins speech at the Big Ten luncheon. He was asked to speak on behalf of all the players and his speech focused on what a privilege it is to be able to play football in the Big Ten. It's one of the more impressive speeches I've ever seen and I think it should be mandatory viewing for all incoming freshmen in the Big Ten, especially those going to MSU. We're lucky to have this guy representing MSU on and off the field.

This is the guy that Rob Parker tried to accuse of brawling with hockey players … even though Cousins was actually in church with his parents at the time. Makes you wonder how many “professional” columnists have even a nodding familiarity with the people they spout off about.
Cousins...
…is churchy, but he isn’t churchy at 1 a.m. He was staying with his parents at the Kellogg Center, was the story at the time.
Wonderful. Simply wonderful.
Looking forward to watching him for one more year.

Rivals or scout (wtf cares) has a free video of cousins talking about paying players too
It shows how smart and reasoned Cousins really is.
