This makes me incredibly happy, as I just ordered an iPad and one of my chief concerns was still being able to use SBN sites as easily as you can on a regular computer.

Just downloaded it on iPad, it’s OK for the Pad, but bc it’s an iPhone app, on the iPad, it’s small sized, so you have to hit the 2x button in the corner to make it larger.
Also, I couldn’t figure out how to read or post comments on it, and bc it’s an iPhone app, it doesn’t flip the screen position to/from horizontal & portrait as you move the device around, which is a pet peeve of mine.
IMO, I will keep following TOC & other SBN blogs via Safari on the iPad, it just seems to work better that way. My biggest beef with using the safari is, unlike on IE on a computer, comments don’t automatically update, so if you’re trying to use the pad/phone for a live game thread, you have to constantly refresh.
Ideally, there will be a blackberry app soon! Just got the brand new Bold Touch 9930 with the new BB 7 operating system today, and would love a dedicated SBN app on that. Pete, can you make that happen . . . ?!?!

We saw what you described first thing this AM
We’re hoping to continually improve iPad performance with the current version and then ultimately roll out one optimized specifically with the iPad in mind.
While we don’t have any plans for a Blackberry version at this time, we’re also looking into improving our Mobile Web version so that folks on Blackberrys and WIndows 7 phones can enjoy the same benefits iOS and Android folks will.

And in the interim, I downloaded the app on my wife’s iPhone. So she can stay in touch too.

I use an IPad and don’t have to constantly refresh. About every 30 seconds or so the page updates the comments without having to reload the whole thing.
