Best MSU Baller You Never Heard Of

Back in the early 70s, MSU basketball was unpublicized for Detroit area kids like me. All I knew was that they had a coach who played his 5'7 son at PG, and this guard named Mike Robinson put up a lot of points.

Haven't heard of him? That's a shame. Because Mike Robinson was an injury away from leading the Big Ten in scoring three straight years. Man, that's just crazy! So I had a sudden flashback the other day and looked up an old article to find out about the guy. Thought I'd share it with you history buffs out there ... because, in the words of that Walmart Wolverine Arthur Miller, attention must be paid. If anyone knows how he's doing these days, please share.

Mike Robinson — Career Scoring Avg: 24.2 ppg
