What Was The Top MSU Sports Moment In 2011-12?

Stay connected for news and updates

With the 2011-12 MSU athletics season in the books, it's time to take a look back at what was a spectacular academic year across all sports.

Men's basketball, women's golf and women's cross country won Big Ten championships, while the football team won the Legends Division and the Outback Bowl. Ice hockey, baseball and women's basketball also made their respective NCAA Tournaments. MSU was the only school in the country to have football, men's basketball, baseball and hockey made the postseason.

There also were some incredible individual seasons, from Draymond Green to Torey Krug to Laura Heyboer.

But what was the best moment?

We're going to open up nominations in the comments for the next week, and then the TOC staff will pick a top five. So let us know what you think should be included. Rocket is obvious, but is there something we should make sure isn't overlooked? Make your case and have some fun with this.
