Golf Outing for Paige Duren's MSU Clinic with Former MSU Players

Haunted Hall Bash is raising money for the MSU Division of Pedriatic Oncology, which is the clinic that treated Paige Duren, with an Aug. 12 golf outing at Braeside Golf Course in Rockford, MI. Tim Nicholas, founder and co-owner of the Haunted Hall Bash, chose the benefactor after reading Joe Rexrode's November story about Paige’s situation and speaking with the Duren family. The event will feature several former MSU athletes, including Drew Neitzel, Austin Thornton, A.J. Granger, Marquise Gray, Lauren Aitch and Lykendra Johnson. And Paige will be stationed on a green to attempt a birdie putt for each team in an effort to raise money to fill the prize closet at the clinic. Prizes include an all-expenses-paid trip to Hawaii. It’s a scramble with four-person teams, and the $60 charge per person includes dinner and a free golf club. The registration deadline is Aug. 1. Limited space available...
