Hatin' Ass Sparty

Put a stake in

Inspired by the continuing feature "Hatin' Ass Spurrier" at EDSBS, I wrote the following during a flight on Sunday.

Saw your new sweatshirt, Brady. Does the "M" in "M Football" stand for masochist?

Hoke's just trying to relate to the typical Michigan fan though, which is why he's trying to embrace the challenges of being unemployed.

I don't know why everyone's so mad about the tent stake? With your clown show and your circus music fight song, only thing you're missing is some elephants and a bearded lady.

Left her back in Ann Arbor, huh?

Don't feel too bad about losing to Michigan State though; your rival Ohio can't beat Ohio State.

Some people get mad about Michigan using up so much clock. You really want to see this team run more plays?

Disrespecting the lions didn't really work out for the Christians either.

On the bright side, this year you can't say that losing to MSU derailed the season.

I don't really think Dantonio hates Brady Hoke though. No more than anyone that thinks the term "head coach" should be held in esteem, anyways.

Some people read all of Brady's statements as some kind of effort to avoid responsibility. Can you blame him for that?

Aware, but not fully aware? Seems to be the mantra your secondary sticks to.

Good to see you got your first touchdown in three years against MSU. Maybe in three more years you'll be able to score two touchdowns.

I liked Brady's decision to go for two. When asked about it, he said it was because he couldn't go for twenty.

Can't really get too mad at Gardner for those interceptions. It's not like your players were catching his passes.

You're Michigan fergodsakes.

Too early to say Brady will be fired; he's certainly fulfilling Brandon's desire for a wow experience.

Like "wow, look at that interception Gardner threw" or "wow, look at Delano Hil

l blow that coverage."

That's a tough road environment though; it's not every year you play in Spartan Stadium.

I hear every year Dantonio asks which players also had offers from Michigan. Way Michigan's looked over the last seven years, I gotta imagine he's trying to weed those guys out.

But hey, not every kid likes Oreo pizza more than winning.

MSU needs to clean up those penalties though. They spotted Michigan 45 yards of penalties on one of those drives and Michigan almost scored because of it.

Watching MSU beat up Michigan makes you wonder if farmers hate the cattle they slaughter. You gotta remember that MSU is a research university.

How can MSU be mad about Michigan driving a stake into the ground when they were planting Devin Gardner in the field all game?

Haven't seen Michigan look this pathetic in two weeks.

Brady thinks he was aware, but was not fully aware. Socrates respects the way you admit what you don't know, at least.

Then again, he got in trouble for corrupting the youth too.

I hear Michigan has lost six of their last seven to State. I guess there are things you can still partially blame on Rodriguez.

Really gotta admire the way Brady sticks to his goal of winning the time of possession battle even when they're down by three scores though.

At least Michigan can always look forward to a great week of practice.
