Dakich has a son who plays for (guess who) Michigan

Now, it would be absolutely insane to believe that there was some sort of conspiracy on Dakich's account to cause Dawson to break his hand, and I am certainly not saying that. However Dakich does have a son who plays for Michigan. Now, I get that the man can't help what college his son plays for, but I really have to think that this raises serious questions about his objectivity, at least in regards to teams that currently playing the team his son plays for. In fact, the way I found this out was that the other announcer working with Dakich pointed out that his son was going into the game when Michigan was playing against another team. Should an announcer really be calling a game that his son is playing in? I would also say that, at the very least, there are some serious objectivity questions for when he calls Michigan State games as well, it being the main rival of his son's team. Perhaps there is a real reason many of us Michigan State fans hate his guts - it's possible that he is biased against Michigan State - perhaps only at a subconscious level, but a bias none the less. Is it so hard to find somebody who is competent and unbiased to announce games? I would love that job, personally. I really don't think ESPN should be having Dakich announce Michigan or Michigan State games, at the very least; and I don't think it would be unreasonable for him to not call any Big Ten games, at least until his son graduates or otherwise leaves the Big Ten. I think that there is simply too big of a chance that he will express his bias in ways that make the games he calls less enjoyable for those who actually care about the outcomes.
