The Big Ten Tournament title is on the line, as the Spartans face the Wolverines in their first ever meeting in the BTT.
YOUR MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS vs. THE MICHIGAN WOLVERINES

So let's count the ways the first ever MSU-UM matchup in the Big Ten Tournament is huge. Very, very important in terms of bragging rights? Absolutely. Big Ten Tournament title on the line? Sure. Possible NCAA seeding ramifications, including a possible #1 seed for the Wolverines if they win? Looks that way. That said, both of these teams are going to be in the NCAA Tournament when this game is over, and it's hard for either team to move significantly in seeding, given the brackets are announced after the game is over. We'll have a separate thread for that. For now though, get pumped.
There's only one key to the game today:
VENGEANCE. SWEET, SWEET, VENGEANCE. This'll be the first time a fully healthy MSU team plays Michigan this season (make sure to let your UM friends know this too - few things'll rile them up more). The team has been playing up to their potential for the past two games, especially Branden Dawson. Let's hope they can keep it going for 40 more minutes so Tommy can do some ladder dancing in Indianapolis.
KenPom has the game at a near coin-flip, predicting Michigan 72, Michigan State 71 with a 48% chance of a Spartan victory. Vegas sees it differently, the line opened at MSU -2; it has since jumped to MSU -3 to -3.5, depending on the line.
This is the open thread. We're opening it up a bit early today because we know you're eagerWe have three (four) rules here: No links to illegal game streams, no racial, homophobic, or misogynistic slurs, and be cool to one another (also known as don't feed the trolls). Enjoy the game everyone.
