Linking Laconically worries about the hype

What a difference a week makes. After a rough to finish the regular season followed by a Big Ten tournament title, everyone likes Michigan State.

I try not to believe in jinxes or have crazy superstitions, but the obsession with MSU is a little unsettling. Everybody and their President loves the Spartans, and that always feels like a bad thing. Tomorrow, we get an idea of whether or not MSU is ready to live up to the hype. Will the Spartans be as sharp as they were last weekend after being told how great they are for a few days? They say yes, but we'll find out when the ball goes up.
