Saw this posted at MGoBlog, so I thought I would share it here with an emphasis on a handful of B1G teams, along with Notre Dame.
Over/Under win totals and money lines for B1G teams (and ND):
Indiana: 5.5 (Over +145, Under -185)
Michigan: 7.5 (Over -140, Under +100)
Michigan State: 9.5 (Over -155, Under +115)
Nebraska: 7.5 (Over -130, Under -110)
Notre Dame: 9.5 (Over +110, Under -150)
Ohio State: 10.5 (Over -140, Under +100)
Penn State: 8.5 (Over +100, Under -140)
Rutgers: 4.5 (Over -110, Under -130)
Wisconsin: 9.5 (Over -135, Under -105)
MSU at 9.5 actually feels like it might be a bit high to me. We have a tough non-conference game at Oregon that I think most of us would be surprised if we won. Nebraska always gives us fits and we may not have beaten them last year if not for all their turnovers (yes, some were forced, but fumble recoveries in particular tend to be randomly distributed). We have back-to-back rivalry games against UM and OSU (with a week off in between) that I think will be very tough; I could see us drop one to OSU even though it's home. We also have a deceptively tough road game at Maryland. That game is at night against a pretty good Maryland team that returns a bunch of starters and they are sure to be fired up.
We had some moments last year where we didn't look all that great - that's normal and every team has those games. But we were fortunate they came against an overmatched Purdue team and a mediocre Minnesota team. Nearly every team has a let down game or two and I could see us dropping a game we should otherwise win.
Taking off my MSU-colored glasses for a moment, the betting man in me probably takes the under for MSU. What say you, Spartan Nation?
