Today is just a good news kind of day, eh? From the hardwood to the gridiron, things are coming up green.
In addition to the exciting news about a certain basketball player, Michigan State received their fifth commitment of the 2018 football recruiting class today when three-star linebacker Edward Warriner decided to commit to the Spartans

The Olentangy Liberty (OH) star has some deep family connections to Michigan State. His mother is a Spartan Alum and met his father, current Minnesota offensive line coach Ed Warriner Sr., while he was working for the MSU football team in the 1980’s. Warriner and Mark Dantonio were even roommates for a stretch during their debut stints in East Lansing.
The younger Ed checks in at 6’1” 222, is ranked by Rivals as the #42 player in the state of Ohio and had offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, UCF and West Virginia among others.

Welcome aboard, Edward!
