MSU hockey won a CCHA Tournament series for the first time since 2007, winning in Alaska 4-3 in a decisive Game 3. MSU held a 4-1 lead before a third-period rally, but the Spartans held on. They will play at No. 1 seed Miami next weekend.
The MSU women defeated Michigan on Friday night, then the top seed and No. 8 Penn State Saturday night to reach the Big Ten Tournament final. They will face Purdue at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN2. You've probably heard some of these stories, but Adam Rittenberg put together a really nice and long piece about MSU's role in desegregating college football.
MSU is among the top 16. Fans get to pick the winner, so go vote.
Not saying this was the reason we lost, cause it's not. But I don't think it's fair for Nix to be villainized for something he didn't do. You be the judge.....
