2 MSU football players arrested for eluding cops after Colorado bar incident | Detroit Free Press | freep.com Misdemeanor assault charges for Brian Linthicum, MIP charges for Max Bullough, and "eluding an officer" charges for both. No details are available yet, but it seems that there was a shoving match in a bar in Aspen, and when the police arrived, Messrs. Linthicum and Bullough tried to get away. So, the two players are now on par with the 50% of MSU students who are involved in similar situations by the time they graduate. On the other hand, unlike the other recent transgressions involving MSU players, this one actually happened in the off-season. Fulmer Cup points, ahoy!

Looks like MSU will be without Delvon Roe's services this evening.

The Steelers offensive line honored Flozell Adams for finally reaching the Super Bowl after 13 seasons by wearing his MSU jersey for the trip there. The blurb from the Steelers website is here. The video version is here.

"The new Big Ten logo provides a contemporary identifying mark unifying 12 outstanding institutions." I don't see it, but maybe you have to stare at it for a while to before the "12" part bursts off the page. Also: We are a legend.
