MSU has a new prospect for next season in guard Alvin Ellis out of Chicago who visited last weekend. With the start of a brief recruiting period, the coaching staff was out in force to visit their primary recruits.
MSU welcomed two visitors last week, 2013 PF Gavin Schilling and 2014 SG Devin Booker. In addition, the Spartans continue their pursuit of some of the best juniors in the country.
The MSU staff is still scouting and recruiting prospects now that the high school season is in full swing. The big news is an in-person visit by Coach Izzo to Chicago guard Tyler Ulis, an undersized but talented junior.
