MSU welcomed two visitors last week, 2013 PF Gavin Schilling and 2014 SG Devin Booker. In addition, the Spartans continue their pursuit of some of the best juniors in the country.

Some of the hardest recruiting work of Tom Izzo's life has paid off. Today, Simeon's star senior Jabari Parker offered a verbal pledge to Coach Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans.

The long story of Jabari Parker's recruitment is over and he's chosen to play for the Duke Blue Devils over Michigan State, Brigham Young, Florida, and Stanford.

With the news that Jabari Parker will make his college choice in one week, we're about to enter a new phase of the basketball recruiting cycle. Action has picked up and Jabari's decision may only accelerate the process.

The summer is over and The Only Colors looks towards the fall as Michigan State sets up official visits for its 2013 basketball recruiting targets and advances on securing its 2014 class and beyond.

The second weekend of July evaluation sent MSU coaching staff out pursuing a monster set of classes for 2013 and 2014. MSU is working hard to land elite recruits like Jahlil Okafor, Tyus Jones, and James Young with other targets out with injuries.
