Matt Costello's 18 points and numerous rebounds and blocked shots helped keep the Bay City Western Warriors alive in the state playoffs with a win over the Saginaw High Trojans. Western lead 33-20 at the half, but a furious rally by the Warriors lead to Saginaw taking the lead in the fourth quarter. Western, who was blown out, 60 - 28, by Saginaw in their first meeting, responded to the Trojan's rally with an 11-0 surge to end the game with a final score of 55-47. The Warriors are set to face Clarkston on Wednesday.
