EA Sports NCAA Football 2011 Week - An Overview

This post is sponsored by EA Sports NCAA Football 2011.

The good folks over at EA Sports have extended The Only Colors and the rest of SB Nation's college blogs an opportunity to promote NCAA Football 2011, available July 13th.  I've played the demo for the PS3, and the gameplay is much improved from a few years ago.  The blocking is logical, draws actually work now, and each school's offense is a reasonable facsimile of how teams move down the field on Saturday afternoons.

This week won't be an advertisement extolling the different features of NCAA Football 2011 (although you can run your dynasty over the internet now - goodbye workplace productivity!), but rather a reflection of what it means to be a Michigan State fan.  The first post, "Where I Come From: How I Became a Michigan State Spartans Fan" will be up at 10 AM today.  There will be a post every weekday until July 13th, when NCAA Football 2011 is released, and the posting will proceed thusly:

Tuesday: All-Time Favorite Michigan State Team

Wednesday: Tailgating Traditions

Thursday: All-Time Favorite Michigan State Players

Friday: Most Memorable Moments

Monday, July 12th: Expectations for the 2010 Season

Tuesday, July 13th: NCAA Football 2011 Release Day

We're excited for this opportunity, but more so to hear what you have to share about your fandom, traditions, and favorite Michigan State moments throughout your life.  For now...

GO GREEN! GO WHITE!
