Sorry about the lack of a preview for today's game. In lieu of that, I present to you A Beautiful Day for Football's senior obituaries, which are much more hilarious and way less morbid than it sounds.
I'm expecting an easy MSU victory today, but I expected one against Minnesota as well, and I don't need to remind you the heartburn that game caused. Indiana freshman quarterback Tre Roberson...well, he's a lot like Marquise Gray (not that Marquise Gray). He'll make plays for both teams.
Lastly, as you've heard all week, an MSU win and Nebraska loss will put Michigan State in the inaugural Big Ten championship game. It's been a contested topic in the FanPosts whether one should root for Michigan. Here are my thoughts: I wanted Michigan to win last year and three years ago where an Ohio State loss would mean a potential BCS bowl or Rose Bowl berth. However, MSU still controls their own density, so I can understand both sides. It's definitely logical to root for Michigan; however, I feel that the moment I decide to root for them they'll tank, and make me feel dirty in so many ways. In short, never count on a Michigan win when it could benefit MSU -- if I were a betting man, I'd bet a lot of money on Nebraska today based on that hunch.
This is the open thread. You know the drill by now: No slurs, no links to illegal game streams, be cool to one another, and if any Indiana football trolls do exist, please do not feed them. Let's have a real good time, and let's send the seniors last game in Spartan Stadium be a fantastic one.
GO GREEN, GO WHITE, BEAT INDIANA.
