Note: This roundup may become more infrequent, with basketball season now in full mode. We'll see how things go.
Many 2014 offers have started to go out this week, but the most interesting news continues to surround 2013 Cass Tech OL David Dawson. The former Michigan commit scheduled official visits for Ohio State (Dec. 7), Alabama (Jan. 11) and MSU the following week. 247 believed MSU to be the leader for Dawson. But then this happened.

OK, then. Dawson's offer was originally pulled because he wanted to visit other schools, a no-no for Michigan. But apparently things have been patched up. We'll see if he's still uncommitted by the time the MSU visit comes around.
Reschke finished big in title win over Muskegon (Rivals) - Linebacker commit Jon Reschke won a state title with Brother Rice, recording nine tackles and a fumble recovery in the title game.
Powell ready to go (Scout) -Safety commit Jalyn Powell's team lost in the first round of the state playoffs, but Powell helped key a 9-1 season after going 2-8 last year.
Peko still favors Spartans (247) - Kyle Peko visited with Nebraska recently, but still says MSU is his No. 1. He will no longer enroll early at a school, instead graduating in May. He's trying to set up an in-home visit with MSU.
Peko mention!
Augusta set to welcome in Spartans (247) - Four-star Illinois DT Josh Augusta was set to visit with Dan Roushar last night and set up an official visit. He says Missouri is his No. 1, while MSU is No. 2.
Quest continues for Floridian (247) - Florida athlete Justin Williams hears from MSU every week. His top three includes MSU, Purdue and Cincinnati. MSU offered him last spring.

Drake on the mend after state title (247) - 2014 linebacker commit Deon Drake suffered a knee sprain in the state title game with Cass Tech, but should be OK. Several MSU coaches visited Cass Tech earlier this week to recruit a number of prospects. Drake says he will bring some teammates to watch an MSU bowl practice.
Warner visits Ga. 4-star prospect (247) - Four-star defensive end Antonio Riles of Georgia is committed to Florida, but he was visited by Dave Warner recently. He was supposed to visit MSU in November, but his mother couldn't make it, so it was called of.
