MSU stays home for a game against a 1-5 Purdue squad that hasn't defeated an FBS team this year. MSU and Nebraska are the only 2-0 teams in the Legends division, and a win would give MSU bowl eligibility. A week ago, Nebraska blew out Purdue with its third-string quarterback, so it has been a difficult year for the Boilers.
Mark Dantonio is 4-0 against Purdue, with these teams not having met since 2010, when MSU avoided a huge upset that would have ended their hopes for a Big Ten championship. Purdue will look to do it this year, earlier in the season.
