It's rivalry week.
The 7-1 Spartans (4-0 Big Ten) host the 6-1 (2-1) Wolverines in a game that could very well end up determining the Legends division. After winning four straight against Michigan, MSU lost in Ann Arbor last season.
U-M's lone loss was in four overtimes against Penn State, with wins over Central Michigan, Notre Dame, Akron, UConn, Minnesota and Indiana.
I've been getting a lot of questions about different uniforms for this game. I would be surprised if MSU had something new. Usually, with new jerseys, you want to reveal them early and have time to make money through merchandise sales, as MSU did in 2011. Last year, the chrome helmets were leaked leading up to the game, so there could be something small like that. I actually think the chrome would look good with green jerseys, especially with it being a 3:30 game and nightfall. Still, some players said they didn't want to wear them again because they represented a loss to Michigan. Maybe a chance to make up for it?
